Please use the following pages to help you get your self measured for your new bespoke outfit, whether for the showring or the hunt field we are on hand to get the perfect fit for your needs. If you would like to book an appointment to be measured at our workshop or a trade event that we are attending please contact us to book in now. Spaces are limited and fill up quickly so don’t delay.

To get your self measured you will need a fabric tape measure and a helpful person to assist too. If ordering a side saddle item you will need to be able to sit on your saddle safely too whilst measurements are being taken.

Keep the tape measure comfortably snug, but not tight. Make sure your index finger is able to fit between the tape and all the measurements you take.  All measurements should be to the nearest centimetre (cm); we will make your garment to this measurement so please double check them before sending as we cannot be held responsible for incorrect measurements given.

When you measure your bust/ chest take the tape around the fullest part of the chest keeping the tape measure level, and well under the arms. The tape should only just be felt. Stand or sit normally and don’t inflate your chest as this will give a larger measurement than required. Allow some room for breathing /movement. To locate the nape of your neck, feel the small bone at the base of your neck. When measuring the length of jacket required, follow the contours of your body. If you are unsure of the perfect length it is generally accepted to be where your knuckles are with your arms naturally hanging down. To measure your sleeve length – hang your arm down in line with your body and measure from the top of the sleeve to the cuff. The sleeve should go to the base of your thumb (located at the wrist joint). We also recommend that you err on the side of generosity with your sleeve length.

We are also on hand to guide you through the measuring process should you need any assistance at all.
